Flabob Airport Preparatory Academy is a tuition-free, public charter high school and middle school (grades 7-12) located on Flabob Airport and operated by River Springs Charter School. It offers a broad liberal education, emphasizing science, mathematics, engineering and technology, and using aviation as a context, example and motivator.

We need more students for our fine school, and nothing works like word of mouth. So the Foundation offered every existing student who would "land" a new student, i.e. bring in someone new who actually matriculates, a handsome custom-made leather A-2 flight jacket with the Flabob logo and the student's name. The first shipment has arrived, and here Vanessa Ortiz shows hers off. Well done, Vanessa!
Applications and transfers are accepted year-round, and there is currently a small number of openings in each grade 7 - 12. Please call head of school Kathleen Swift at 951-222-4466, or by email at kathleen.swift@RiverSpringsCharter.org.

- the "hand" using hands-on, project learning to bridge the gap between the schoolroom and the world; and
- the "heart," instilling a sense of civic obligation and the knowledge of history, government, economics and the social sciences to enable the student to be a contributing member of society.
